Brake and Clutch fluid DOT 4 is a synthetic fluid blended from glycol ethers and polyglycols. It contains corrosion and oxidation inhibitors to enhance its natural corrosion and chemical stability. It exceeds the two international standards, viz. SAE J1703 and FMVSS No. 116 Dot 4 (USA) and also exceeds the requirements of ISO 4925 and passes all important tests specified for brake fluids eg. Fluidity at low temperatures, evaporation, water tolerances, compatibility, resistance to oxidation and effect on rubber.
